Our focus: Bio^M has been the network organisation for the biotechnology industry in Munich and Bavaria for over 25 years, on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. As a non-profit organisation, Bio^M creates a unique ecosystem in medicine and biotechnology for innovation, growth, and value creation in Bavaria. To this end, we connect all relevant partners and support Bavarian biotech companies. In addition, Bio^M offers a wide range of workshops, training courses, and events on industry-specific topics.

What we offer start-ups: Bio^M offers comprehensive consulting and special coaching, training, and mentoring programs specifically for aspiring entrepreneurs. In addition, Bio^M’s incubator MAxL (Munich Accelerator Life Sciences & Medicine) provides optimal conditions for pre-seed projects and early-stage start-ups in the biotech and healthtech sectors. Since 2011, Bio^M has also coordinated the m⁴ Award preseed competition in the field of biomedicine, which is funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs with a total of 2.5 million Euros every other year.
